koi fish

Koi fish are about the sturdiest fish I've ever known, they are just such great fish to have. They are known commonly known as collector fish, Mostly for the very rich, because some koi can grow so big, that company owners will buy them for the high price of 2 million dollars!!!! expert koi breeders have big ponds in the mountains, where they might put 50, to 1000 or even more baby koi, until they grow big, then they breed. They will come to the pond in the winter, take a huge net and pull it through the pond. The fish are so important that they had to make sure that EVERY fish is present and accounted for. If one is missing, they will have to drag the net through the lake again, until the fish is caught/ found dead. Koi are excellent fish to have in ponds, and can even be entered in koi contests. Usually, the winner has a lot of luster (shine) and great looking red spots all over them. I will attach a picture of a grand champion koi fish to this post. Thank you for reading this blog :).
